Manage the accounting for company payroll and provide key support to the team on payroll reconciliation.
Managing A/R and A/P functions.
Managing the monthly accounting close process, including but not limited to journal entries, account reconciliations, adjustments, accruals, and flux analysis.
Oversees the preparation of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
Timely and accurate filing of federal, state, and local taxes, and coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
Developing and improving accounting processes and systems to drive efficiency and best practices.
Establishing, implementing and administering internal control policies, procedures and processes.
Participate in accounting and system integrations.
Manage, coach, and train accounting team members.
Requirements
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in accounting roles of increasing responsibility.
Public Accounting experience (preferably Big 4 or National CPA firms).
Managing team of Accountants.
Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Experience with multicurrency, intercompany, and consolidated accounting.
Strong understanding of inventory and cost accounting.
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and NetSuite (or similar, e.g., SAP, MS Dynamics GP/Great Plains, etc.)
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Organized, detail oriented, ability to multi-task.
