About the role
- Provide strategic direction and operational guidance for reporting requirements
- Day-to-day management and development of resources
- Guidance and support in resolving escalated issues and complex accounting activities
- Significant interaction with various departmental teams
- Oversee property additions, transfers, and retirements of assets
- Manage account reconciliations and maintain tax books
- Ensure compliance with accounting guidelines and policies
- Act as liaison for internal audit inquiries and key stakeholders
- Oversee the fleet relationship between Sysco and operating companies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA required
- 7-10+ years of experience; Public accounting experience a plus.
- Experience with Costar Real Estate Manager, Smartstream (GEAC), BPC, and Workday is preferred.
- Intermediate Excel computer skills; must be able to create and modify existing Excel spreadsheets
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
