About the role

  • Manage sales and grow revenues with new and existing accounts for Sensata's aftermarket sensors and sensing solutions (Schrader, Preco, Sensata)
  • Lead direct sales process and achieve sales targets
  • Visit current and potential clients and perform routine account management activities
  • Submit short and long-range sales plans and prepare sales strategies
  • Ensure clients receive high quality customer service
  • Develop and acquire new customers/accounts in North America and Latin America
  • Direct manufacturers’ representatives and administration resources
  • Interpret and analyze data to create solutions to grow revenue and placement
  • Responsible for Sales/Revenue inputs into annual plan, quarterly updates, and long range planning
  • Create and execute sales strategies to win against commoditized product lines

Requirements

  • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with Aftermarket specific sales experience
  • Proven Track Record: demonstrated success in driving $6M+ in sales
  • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills
  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage manufacturer’s reps and ensure ownership of the account
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic vision for accounts
  • Ability to analyze information and leverage findings to set and drive sales strategy
