About the role
- Manage sales and grow revenues with new and existing accounts for Sensata's aftermarket sensors and sensing solutions (Schrader, Preco, Sensata)
- Lead direct sales process and achieve sales targets
- Visit current and potential clients and perform routine account management activities
- Submit short and long-range sales plans and prepare sales strategies
- Ensure clients receive high quality customer service
- Develop and acquire new customers/accounts in North America and Latin America
- Direct manufacturers’ representatives and administration resources
- Interpret and analyze data to create solutions to grow revenue and placement
- Responsible for Sales/Revenue inputs into annual plan, quarterly updates, and long range planning
- Create and execute sales strategies to win against commoditized product lines
Requirements
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with Aftermarket specific sales experience
- Proven Track Record: demonstrated success in driving $6M+ in sales
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills
- Ability to manage manufacturer’s reps and ensure ownership of the account
- Ability to develop and execute strategic vision for accounts
- Ability to analyze information and leverage findings to set and drive sales strategy
