About the role
- Create and manage part numbers in ERP system
- Prepare and enter internal and external purchase orders
- Data entry for intercompany orders
- Enter transfer orders
- Process drop ship invoices
- May create work order and handle light assembly of OEM products and sales samples
- May assist warehouse in re-packaging, re-labeling, re-counting products when necessary
- Data entry and tracking of shipping advice, promise dates from vendors
- Promise delivery date update on the purchase orders
- Negotiate product pricing with vendors (manufacturers)
- Schedule all forms of shipments and manage lowest freight cost to destination
- Track PO status with vendors and couriers/forwarders
- Monitor inventory daily and adjust quantities with Sales team
- Generate reports for managers when necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (Supply Chain Management preferred) or equivalent working experience required
- 1-3 years’ experience with inventory management required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required
- Experience with ERP systems required (NetSuite a plus)
