About the role

  • Oversee all production operations across multiple sites and manage manufacturing of electrical infrastructure for data centers
  • Develop long- and short-range manufacturing plans, policies, and objectives and act as liaison to company officers
  • Build and scale operations, including ramping up full-scale production at the Tulsa facility
  • Develop and execute SOPs and production standards to ensure consistent product quality
  • Manage cost centers and collaborate with finance to develop CapEx and OpEx budgets and forecast employee levels
  • Direct and monitor production departments (fabrication, assembly, wiring, paint) to meet manufacturing goals and hire/train/mentor production managers and staff
  • Identify and implement Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives and track KPIs
  • Lead manufacturing planning for New Product Introduction (NPI), including BOM management, work instructions, and QC test design
  • Integrate ISO 9001 requirements into production processes and prepare for quality audits; utilize modern information and technology to increase innovation and compliance

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive manufacturing experience, with a significant portion in a leadership role, including leading multi-site, geographically dispersed teams
  • Proven experience with new product introduction (NPI), including BOM management and developing work instructions
  • Successful experience with ERP software and the ability to implement updates without delays
  • Proactive leadership style capable of inspiring shop floor and office staff and mentoring production managers
  • Excellent cross-functional team-building and negotiation skills to manage production limitations across departments
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong desire to build things correctly the first time
  • Ability to travel up to 20% or more as needed
