About the role
- Implementation and administration of Seneca HR policies and procedures.
- Compliance at Federal and State levels.
- Employee relations management.
- Management, interpretation, and administration of HR policies and procedures.
- Recruit, interview and select qualified applicants for open positions.
- Conduct new employee orientations.
- Administer the Seneca Employee Benefits program at the location level.
- Administer FMLA/STD/Leave, Safety and Worker's Compensation programs.
- Conduct required HR/Legal Compliance training for all employees.
- Ensure that employee files and documentation are maintained.
Requirements
- College Degree and/or 4+ years of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory role preferred
- Ability to speak conversational Spanish is preferred but not required
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, listening, written, and computer.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate to employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
