About the role
- define and own the free-to-paid funnel from activation through opportunity conversion
- identify and prioritize the highest-value cohorts within Semgrep's free user base
- build programs including in-product, email, paid, and direct outreach that move high-intent users toward demo and sales engagement
- partner with Product, RevOps, and Sales to define PQL including signals and behaviors for readiness to buy
- map the activation journey for new free users and optimize onboarding touchpoints
- build and maintain a structured experimentation roadmap
- use product usage data to understand engaged users and build nurture paths
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in growth marketing, product marketing, or a hybrid role at a B2B SaaS company with a developer or technical audience
- hands-on experience with a PLG or developer-led GTM motion
- deeply data-driven, ability to instrument a funnel and build cohort analysis
- comfortable working with product and engineering teams
- built or contributed to PQL frameworks
- strong experimenter, able to design tests and learn fast from results
- experience with tools for product analytics; lifecycle; pipeline tracking; engagement platforms
