About the role
- Serve as the Foundation’s general counsel and trusted advisor to the Board
- Lead governance and compliance programs aligned with the Foundation’s mission and jurisdictional obligations
- Oversee grant programs, ensuring accountability and adherence to global compliance standards
- Manage relationships with external counsel across multiple jurisdictions (Cayman, BVI, EU, APAC, U.S.)
- Advise on token management, exchange coordination, and international treasury operations
- Develop internal policies on communications, sanctions, KYC, and AML
- Represent the Foundation in cross-ecosystem collaborations and policy discussions
Requirements
- J.D. or equivalent international qualification; active license in a major jurisdiction
- 10+ years of experience in fintech, digital assets, or cross-border regulatory practice
- Demonstrated experience with nonprofit or foundation governance
- Strong grasp of evolving digital asset regulatory frameworks globally
- Collaborative, discreet, and able to navigate complex multi-stakeholder environments
