About the role
- Facilitate delivery by subcontractors according to delivery plans, frameworks and industry standards
- Ensure subcontractors remain compliant and meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Apply a performance management approach of ‘Challenge’ and ‘Support’ with management and internal functions (Quality, Compliance, Commercial, Finance)
- Travel frequently to conduct contract review meetings with designated subcontractors
- Interpret contract performance data to ensure subcontractors perform as agreed
- Initiate Performance Improvement processes and support management to identify partnerships to manage delivery gaps
- Benchmark subcontractor performance to ensure value for money and continuous improvement
- Create and maintain operational delivery plans with management and support subcontractors to address capability gaps
- Document and share key issues and actions from subcontractor meetings with relevant colleagues
- Encourage continuous improvement and sharing of best practice among provider network
- Present business cases and seek innovative solutions to improve delivery approaches
- Build understanding of area needs to inform and influence effective subcontractor networks
- Build productive relationships with subcontractors based on trust, openness, and joint delivery management
- Establish collaborative environments among stakeholders to drive motivation, innovation and communication
- Ensure subcontractors have requisite policies and processes (Safeguarding, Prevent, Equality & Diversity, Health & Safety)
Requirements
- Experience of managing supply chains
- Experience of target focused performance management and quality assurance techniques
- Experience of delivering in a high-performance target driven culture
- Fully IT literate in Microsoft Office programmes including 365 products and Microsoft Teams
- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths at Grade C or above
- Experience of delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards
- CIPS qualified (desirable)
- Knowledge of the employability industry (desirable)
- Understanding of Risk Management processes (desirable)
- Understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies (desirable)
- Knowledge of the local labour market (desirable)
- Full driving licence to enable deployment across a specified geographical area (desirable)
