💰 £36,000 - £38,000 per year

About the role

  • Preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
  • Responsibility and accountability for the pillars balance sheets reporting.
  • Provide monthly analysis of all relevant balance sheet accounts and lead schedules.
  • Responsibility and accountability for pillars profit and loss reporting.
  • Responsibility and accountability for pillars cash flow reporting.
  • Support the divisional Finance Business Partners with analysis.
  • Liaison with internal and external audit teams, produce information and respond to requests appropriately.
  • Support the Finance function in delivering the long term financial strategy with a focus on driving value and strategic management of funding across the business by challenging spend plans and taking a proactive role in looking for opportunities to deliver services more efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • A qualified/ part-qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA) or AAT/ qualified by experience
  • Previous management accounts experience
  • Ability to analyse and problem solve
  • The ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Intermediate/ advance Excel skill
  • Desirable: Sage 200 experience
