About the role
- Create digital marketing and SEO strategies that tie into clients’ overall marketing plans
- Work closely with a handful of clients, researching beyond the SEO landscape to understand specific challenges
- Act as the main point of contact (POC) and build strong, lasting client relationships and trust
- Execute annual strategies and develop innovative assets after conducting in-depth content gap analyses, competitive & audience analysis, keyword research, and SERP landscape analysis
- Make data and results digestible and report campaign success monthly and quarterly using analytics platforms like Google Analytics and Adobe
- Partner with PPC, Analytics, Content, and Design teams to solve client needs and support cross-channel initiatives
- Leverage AI tools to drive efficiencies, test approaches, and share learnings across the team
- Support client initiatives, manage project resources, meet deadlines, and delegate tasks as needed
Requirements
- Experience building and driving SEO strategy across multiple industries is an absolute must
- Ability to tie outcomes to campaign goals and measure impact
- Comfortable using Analytics to make data-driven decisions (Google Analytics, Adobe)
- Understanding of Content Strategy, content gap analyses, keyword research, and SERP landscape analysis
- Knowledge of promoting content, influencer/PR tactics, and social media channel strategy
- Comfortable interfacing with clients and driving conversations with C-Level executives
- Critical and strategic thinking skills
- Solid project management skills; experience with project management tools like Basecamp or Wrike
- Ability to measure strategy effectiveness (changes to rankings, traffic, conversions) and make decisions based on data
- Passion for staying in-the-know on SEO trends and being on the cutting edge of AI; willingness to share knowledge (blogging or company content)
- Must be based in the US and able to work continental US-based hours
