💰 $60,000 - $70,000 per year
About the role
- Processes pay and payroll taxes on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations
- Enters and processes accurate biweekly multi-state payroll using HRIS system (currently ADP)
- Inputs, sets up, executes, maintains, and reviews payroll processing system
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage and hour laws
- Customizes, sets up, and manages permissions, access, screens, reports for HRIS users
- Collaborates with others to identify system improvements and enhancements
- Facilitates audits by collecting and providing records and documentation to auditors
Requirements
- At least 5 years of payroll processing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of ADP experience
- Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of ADP
- Extensive knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Outlook and Word
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
