About the role

  • Build a content engine, not just content — take our existing strategy and systematise it: use AI tooling to research, draft, repurpose, and distribute at a pace and quality that feels impossible to do manually. LinkedIn, newsletters, founder communities — owned and operated like a media function
  • Own product marketing — work with Sean and the product team to nail positioning and messaging, then build the launch playbooks that get new features in front of the right people with the right narrative
  • Partner with the team to build things founders love — work with our engineering and sales teams to create tools, calculators, or resources that deliver standalone value to founders and drive inbound. Think less "lead magnet," more "thing people actually share"
  • Run high-velocity experiments — design tests across channels, spin them up quickly using AI and automation, kill what doesn't work, and double down on what does. You're not running one campaign per quarter — you're always running something to accelerate our learning and growth
  • Enable GTM with sharp collateral — sales decks, one-pagers, battle cards, partner materials. Produced fast, kept current, and written to actually convert
  • Establish the marketing foundation — brand voice, channel strategy, metrics that matter. Built to scale, not just to tick boxes

Requirements

  • You have deep marketing knowledge in content and/or product marketing and insatiable curiosity to learn about the rest of the craft
  • You're genuinely AI-native, not just AI-aware. You use tools like Claude, Cursor, and whatever's shipping this week to move faster and think more clearly; but you have high standards for the output. No slop.
  • You've shipped things that worked in 0→1 environments — you know the difference between building for scale and building for now
  • You're a strong writer with a clear point of view. You can write a positioning doc and a LinkedIn post and they both sound like a real person
  • You're an experimentation native — you design tests with intent, read the results honestly, and iterate without ego
  • You're excited by the idea of building tools and resources alongside engineers, not just publishing content
  • Bonus if you're familiar with the likes of MKT1, Lenny's Newsletter, or how modern marketing leaders like Intercom's team think about the discipline — we're building a marketing function in that mould.
