Act as the technical authority for network management within the engineering squads, responsible for architecture, performance, security, and scalability of network systems across multiple squads.
Provide mentorship, define best practices, and ensure high availability, disaster recovery and performance optimization across network environments.
Monitor systems, resolve incidents, and guide architecture decisions for mission-critical environments to maintain high availability and compliance.
Collaborate with squads across DevOps, Middleware, and Server teams to drive automation, Infrastructure as Code initiatives, and modernization.
Support implementation and refinement of disaster recovery strategies and lead governance efforts to uphold security standards and documentation.
Foster technical excellence, mentor engineers, collaborate with architects and product owners, and ensure documentation is current.
Requirements
Minimum 8 years of extensive experience as a Network Tech Lead, Principal Network Engineer or Network Operations Lead.
Deep understanding of routing, switching and the following networking protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs.
Deep knowledge of the following firewall technologies: Cisco ASA, Fortigate and Palo Alto.
Actively contributes to the design and implementation of automation initiatives within the organization’s network.
Collaborate with DevOps and Automation squads to align frameworks, tools and standards to corporate strategy.
Mentor and coach Network Engineers on best practices, emerging trends and optimization techniques.
Hands-on expertise in network administration, leadership and strategic thinking to drive technical excellence while aligning network solutions with business objectives.
