Contribute to payroll operations for the newly created SAP MPS and BPO service organisation
Ensure payroll delivery assurance and high-quality operational support (continuous payroll, garnishments, payroll controls, compliance, payment releases, statutory reporting)
Orchestrate payroll service delivery and ensure seamless execution of payroll workbooks
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain operational excellence and local HR business process standards
Drive continuous process improvement and identify optimisation opportunities in country-specific processes
Handle process deviations, assess impact, and recommend solutions to local and global design authorities
Own change order process: gather requirements, liaise with stakeholders, manage pricing, implementation, documentation and training
Maintain SOPs, DWIs, guidelines and process documentation across regions while incorporating local deviations
Develop training materials and provide training to junior and medior team members
Maintain close communication with country teams and clients regarding standards, procedures and process changes
Process complex payroll cases and act as first escalation point for operating teams
Produce timely and accurate payroll in accordance with SD Worx processes, standards and SLAs
Participate in testing, validation, system implementations including UAT and parallel processing
Communicate daily with client-designated contacts and, when necessary, external parties such as tax authorities and benefit providers
Process Year End activities and generate statutory year-end reports
Requirements
3-5 years of experience in Payroll outsourcing within an enterprise business outsourcing environment
Knowledge of payroll processes including continuous payroll through payroll control centre, garnishments, payroll policies and payroll controls, compliance controls, payment releases and reporting to local authorities
Practical experience with Employee Central Payroll and payroll control centre (essential)
Experience in managing client relationships and delivering payroll services to multinational clients
Knowledge of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and KPI measurement and reporting
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Fluent in English and Finnish (verbal and written)
Preferred: experience in a Payroll and BPO outsourcing environment
Preferred: experience with SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Payroll, Concur, Workforce Management and integration tooling
Preferred: experience with inbound and outbound interfaces to payroll
Preferred: certifications such as CPP, CPS or CPM
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement
