About the role
- Lead and mentor a team of SEO specialists, ensuring best practices and clear goals
- Assess Scopic’s current SEO strategy and develop a roadmap to increase organic traffic, lead generation, and conversions
- Oversee execution of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO initiatives
- Monitor performance, analyze data, and generate reports with actionable insights
- Stay ahead of industry trends — especially innovations in AI-driven SEO — and proactively introduce new tools and methods
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, content, and development teams to align SEO strategies with business goals
- Ensure consistent communication, organization, and clarity in task planning and reporting
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional SEO experience, including leadership/management of SEO teams
- Proven track record of delivering SEO growth in competitive industries (bonus if in software development or technology)
- Strong technical SEO knowledge (site audits, crawling, indexing, schema, site speed optimization, etc.)
- Expertise in on-page and off-page SEO, including link-building and digital PR
- Proficiency with Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools
- Familiarity with web structures: servers, CMS platforms, HTML/CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with AI/LLM-driven SEO experimentation (preferred, but not required)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills — able to explain complex SEO insights in a clear, actionable way
- Flexible, proactive, and open to innovation
- Advanced written and spoken English
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
