About the role
- Lead and mentor a team of 5+ engineers working on billing systems, building a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of billing solutions—from system design and deployment to ongoing support and optimization.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and adapt systems to evolving business needs.
- Provide hands-on technical input and troubleshooting, especially within Oracle and PL/SQL environments.
- Improve billing workflows with a focus on accuracy, scalability, and efficiency.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring business goals are met.
- Support professional growth of team members through coaching and skills development.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Oracle databases and PL/SQL programming.
- Proven ability to manage and inspire a team of 4+ engineers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for working with complex data and designing robust solutions.
- Clear and confident communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Nice to have: Experience with additional billing or financial platforms.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with software engineering best practices and design patterns.
