About the role
- Analyze website, paid media, and organic data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth analysis to understand customer behavior, campaign performance, and channel effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and quality checks.
- Uncover insights that lead to performance gains and diagnose underperformance across marketing efforts.
- Translate data analysis into clear, actionable marketing strategy and optimization recommendations.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement data-driven initiatives and A/B tests.
- Provide strategic guidance on campaign targeting, budget allocation, and channel mix.
- Implement and manage tracking and analytics tools across various platforms.
- Stay up to date on the latest analytics technologies and industry best practices.
- Work closely with traditional marketing, sales, and IT teams to align goals and optimize performance.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Design and implement a robust testing framework to evaluate the impact of site design changes, promotions, creative variations, and paid media optimizations.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute A/B and multivariate tests, ensuring proper statistical validity and data integrity.
- Implement and maintain tracking mechanisms to collect accurate and reliable data for testing and analysis.
- Analyze test results, identifying winning variations and providing actionable insights to optimize marketing campaigns and improve user experience.
- Foster a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making, championing testing as a core component of the marketing strategy.
- Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing analytics (3-5 years referenced in description)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Expertise in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), data visualization tools (Power BI), and Excel
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Solid understanding of digital marketing channels, including paid search, social media, SEO, site analytics, and email marketing
- Experience leading testing design for a performance marketing team (preferred)
- Familiarity with SQL or other data query languages (preferred)
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and experimentation (preferred)
- Experience in the home improvement industry (preferred)
- Experience with digital marketing analytics and familiarity with marketing technologies (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems (Microsoft D365), and marketing automation platforms)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Ability to think strategically and connect data insights to broader business goals
- Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without need for visa sponsorship
