About the role

  • Achieve territory annual sales goals including overall production, penetration rates and product diversity
  • Provide dedicated assisted-sales support to Edward Jones channel within assigned territory
  • Establish and maintain strategic national, regional, and local relationships within the territory
  • Conduct fact-finding and prospecting with assigned advisors to maximize sales results
  • Train advisors on products, features, sales and marketing ideas, and new business and underwriting processes
  • Provide illustration, case, and product design support with assigned advisors
  • Assist advisors at the point of sale during client meetings
  • Develop and implement an activity plan to maximize field contacts within the territory

Requirements

  • Goal-oriented, self-starter possessing excellent communication and presentation skills
  • 5+ years of success in financial services sales (either wholesale or retail) with a focus on life insurance strategies
  • Experience conducting point of sale life insurance sales a plus
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; additional advanced degrees and/or designations (e.g. CLU, ChFC, CFP) preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of life insurance products and their applications in estate, retirement, and business planning
  • Series 6 or 7, Series 63, and appropriate life insurance licenses
  • Must live in assigned territory and provide exclusive support to Edward Jones Channel
