About the role
- Lead our PEO transition: Fully migrate payroll, benefits administration, and compliance from the PEO into our HRIS, ensuring a seamless cutover with zero pay errors and minimal employee disruption.
- Run payroll and benefits flawlessly: Own day-to-day administration, audits, and employee support across payroll, benefits, and compliance.
- Elevate onboarding: Manage and improve our onboarding program to ensure 100% of new hires are set up for success in their first 30 days.
- Keep us compliant & clear: Build and maintain people policies that are compliant, accessible, and easy to understand.
- Drive engagement: Support recognition and employee experience programs that make Savvy a place people are proud to work.
- Strengthen our infrastructure: Maintain accurate systems, reporting, and processes that scale with us as we grow.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Generalist, or similar roles in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Hands-on with payroll and benefits administration, ideally in Rippling or similar HRIS.
- Clean, compliant policy writing and effective communication to employees.
- Process-oriented, detail-obsessed, and thrive on creating scalable systems.
- Service-minded, approachable, and responsive — employees trust you to have answers.
- Adaptable and love solving challenges in a fast-paced environment.
