About the role
- Promote Sartorius products and services within the assigned strategic account sites to achieve sales targets and gain market share
- Manage existing business and identify new business opportunities to suggest products/ services aligned with Sartorius + customers market and growth strategy
- Actively use sales force to manage and document sales life cycle activities including leads, opportunities, customer interactions and to accurately forecast existing and future business
- Develop and implement strategic account plan to achieve sales targets and request and coordinate resources
- Work closely with internal regional and global teams (R&D Sales, SUTEs, FAS, Quality) to create successful strategies to maintain existing business and gain new business from the account.
- Spend ~50% or more time in the field to develop and maintain strong customer relationships for long term partnership and act as the primary point of contact for all account-related inquiries and issues.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product offerings.
- Coordinate and participate in marketing activities (demos, product presentations, Sartorius day) in the strategic account.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or engineering.
- 5 + years' experience in MABS/ ADC/ Cell and Gene Therapy process development, clinical & commercial through fill finish
- 5 + years field sales experience, or customer facing with laboratory/ process-based manufacturing in Life Science
- Excellent communication, relationship building and negotiation skills
- Understanding of biological drug development and application process within multiple modalities (MABS, ADCs, Cell and Gene therapies)
- Hands-on knowledge and proactive usage of SFDC tool
- Travel Requirements – International and domestic travel will be required for training and commercial purpose - up to 30% overnight
