About the role
- Perform on-site maintenance, calibration, repair, and functional testing of pipettes
- Manage on-site maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of pipettes, diagnosing errors and determining effective solutions
- Produce detailed service reports and issue certificates of analysis promptly
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and UKAS requirements and internal SOPs
- Collaborate closely with the technical team, sharing insights across the organisation
- Act as a trusted partner to customers, building strong relationships and driving satisfaction and customer retention
Requirements
- Some technical skills in electrical, electronics, mechatronics, or comparable experience
- Experience with laboratory equipment or other technical equipment is beneficial
- Field service experience in pharmaceutical, biological or chemical industries is desirable
- Experience working with industry standards such as UKAS, ISO, or equivalent would be preferable
- Strong troubleshooting, testing and servicing skills
- Ability to work autonomously, adapt to changing schedules and travel as needed
- Customer focused communicator who can explain technical issues clearly and professionally
- Hold a valid UK driving licence
- Must have the right to work in the UK
