About the role

  • Negotiate and draft construction contracts for onshore wind projects
  • Support wind farm transaction execution activities, including due diligence, drafting, and closing
  • Coordinate legal inputs for landowner interactions during greenfield development and M&A reviews
  • Assist in drafting and negotiating power purchase agreements with energy suppliers and corporate customers
  • Advise on a range of other legal and regulatory matters, including service contracts and compliance issues

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor in Scotland, England, or Ireland
  • Strong post qualification experience in in-house Energy or large law firms
  • Experience in renewable energy and construction contracts, including EPC and turbine supply agreements
  • Knowledge of property law and experience in M&A transactions
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ability to lead and influence stakeholders
  • Ability to manage complex projects across multiple jurisdictions
