About the role
- Negotiate and draft construction contracts for onshore wind projects
- Support wind farm transaction execution activities, including due diligence, drafting, and closing
- Coordinate legal inputs for landowner interactions during greenfield development and M&A reviews
- Assist in drafting and negotiating power purchase agreements with energy suppliers and corporate customers
- Advise on a range of other legal and regulatory matters, including service contracts and compliance issues
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor in Scotland, England, or Ireland
- Strong post qualification experience in in-house Energy or large law firms
- Experience in renewable energy and construction contracts, including EPC and turbine supply agreements
- Knowledge of property law and experience in M&A transactions
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Ability to lead and influence stakeholders
- Ability to manage complex projects across multiple jurisdictions
