Account Manager

• Serve as a trusted advisor to USN/USMC cyber workforce leaders, aligning SANS training and certification programs with DoD Cyberspace Workforce Framework (DCWF) roles, readiness initiatives, and emerging mission needs.
• Engage in multi-year account planning and capture strategies aligned with program funding and budget cycles; engage with program offices, training commands, and acquisition stakeholders to position SANS ahead of formal RFPs.
• Collaborate with SANS training, curriculum, and operations teams to tailor offerings for fleet and Marine Corps units; engage with integrators, resellers, and prime contractors to embed SANS into broader training and readiness programs.
• Orchestrate strategic planning, program targeting and maximize sales and revenue gains.
• Devise strategies for searching out promising new business opportunities
• Deeply understand the customers' mission in the USN/USMC segments by building relationships to develop focused, relevant solutions by leveraging the breadth of SANS resources
• Be able to analyze federal budgetary information to discern trends and priorities
• Develop understanding of the customers’ terminology, policies, organizational structure, etc.
• Identify and coordinate resources to build winning strategies needed to build customer training programs that do not yet exist or are at their very infancy
• Identify and map key stakeholders, decision makers, and influencers across the cyber domain
• Conduct comprehensive competitive analysis and pricing strategies
• As required, recommend partners and teaming arrangements to successfully capture business
• Must develop a thorough understanding of the breadth and depth of SANS offerings and resources and be able to apply those to customer challenges
• Must develop and write compliant proposals through full spectrum of complexity.

Strategic Account Manager

Content Manager

• Work with Summit Chairs and Advisory Board members to define Call for Presentations (CFP)
• Manage the CFP process from initiation through speaker selection.
• Communicate with speakers who are rejected.
• Communicate with internal teams including the Sponsorship team on selected and rejected speakers to allow for potential sponsorship revenue opportunities.
• Manage selected speakers, collecting headshots, bios, presentation titles, abstracts and other required details.
• Create speaker profiles and agenda through web platform.
• Coordinating with SANS web team and marketing to have Summit agenda added to the summit website
• Work closely witch Summit Chairs & Curriculum to define and manage the delivery schedule of hands-on labs and workshops.
• Coordinate speaker mentorship with summit advisory board members.
• Design and maintain an active database of biographical data, headshots, and evaluation feedback for Summit speakers.
• Organize and conduct pre-Summit briefings with speakers, covering Summit logistics, audience demographics, and any specific AV requirements.
• Coordinate the collection of presentation materials, reviewing them to ensure they meet Summit standards and are technologically compatible.
• Provide administrative support including data entry of event feedback, creation of registration records, and maintenance of databases.
• Create and maintain key support documents for events such as a run-of-show for on-site team and prepare handbooks for speakers.
• Conduct or participate in ongoing team status meeting, being prepared to discuss any issues or concerns that require the attention of the Summit Team or Summit Management.
• Onsite speaker support, AV walk through and tech checks.
• Domestic travel to 7-10 in-person summits annually.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Speaker, Content Manager

Administration

• Provide a support function to the programme leads to aide in the coordination, implementation, and delivery of numerous projects across the programme.
• Manage multiple inbound email inboxes as part of a Helpdesk service.
• Ensure all enquiries are answered in an appropriate and timely manner.
• Liaise with a variety of internal departments and external organisations.
• Attend any necessary events to provide onsite programme support.
• Assist programme leads to ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Undertake activities on multiple concurrent projects.
• Assist in the maintenance of project documentation.
• Carry out administrative activities as requested.
• Update records on the appropriate software as prescribed.
• Provide event support across the programme.
• Support the programme leads to produce reports on project progress.
• Escalate any issues that may impact any projects, in good time and to the appropriate level / person.
• Liaise with 3rd party suppliers as necessary.
• Engage and participate in meetings as appropriate.
• Manage multiple inboxes.
• Assist in the analysis of programme data for campaigns.
• Respond to emails in a timely manner.
• Work with customers/employees to identify areas of improvement and working with the team to find a suitable solution.
• Log and maintain records of inbound queries.
• Undertake any other duties as directed/requested by the line manager.

Programme Support Administrator

Controller

• Oversee and support daily accounting operations to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
• Evaluate existing accounting processes and recommend improvements, with emphasis on automation and efficiency.
• Lead process transformation initiatives and assist with ERP system implementation.
• Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls.
• Lead or assist in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met and reports are accurate.
• Prepare and review journal entries and adjustments for financial data integrity.
• Oversee preparation and submission of all tax filings.
• Manage international accounting operations, including timely income statement and VAT filings, ensuring compliance.
• Provide accurate P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements for the organization and by legal entity.
• Support the Controller and CFO on strategic initiatives and special projects.
• Mentor and support Accounting and Finance team members.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
