Generate and manage accurate customer demand signals in Sanofi planning tools (Kinaxis)
Gather past and future demand factors (tenders, competition, market share, price changes, new/discontinued products, short shelf-life impacts, out-of-stock situations, S&OE impacts, promotion plans, sales history cleansing) and forecast/model their impacts
Integrate statistical forecasting with local market knowledge and only adjust statistical forecasts when accuracy is expected to increase
Ensure accurate master data in planning and ERP tools and proper use of demand planning parameters (code switches, disaggregation rules, phase in/out, sales attributes)
Analyze and question assumptions, consolidate sales forecasts from various markets, and ensure coherence of the final plan
Capture active and inactive opportunities in planning tools to enable scenario planning including supply constraints
Review significant deviations from forecast, budget and market trends, ensuring global data consistency
Participate in Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) providing root cause analysis of short-term demand plan changes and sharing supply risks
Work to continuously improve forecast accuracy to maximize OTIF to the client
Analyze and track products at risk of destruction due to short shelf-life or lack of demand and engage stakeholders to set up action plans
Conduct Monthly Root Cause Analysis review of forecast deviations and Out-of-Stocks to identify and implement actions
Periodically check data consistency in planning tools and data
Coordinate with Product Planners to communicate demand shifts and enable agile supply plan changes
Participate in committees for decisions on new products, adoptions, discontinuations, and stock at risk; update demand plan accordingly
Support preparation and presentation of demand plans in IBP meetings
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in demand planning
Knowledge of pharmaceutical primary and secondary manufacturing processes preferred
Understanding of basic manufacturing processes and ability to apply to supply chain management and demand planning
Basic knowledge of regulatory processes and requirements an advantage
Skilled in scenario planning, risk / benefit analysis, contingency planning and problem solving
Excellent systems skills; SAP and Kinaxis an advantage
Basic understanding of financial function
High level of accountability and attention to details
Demonstrated high standards of integrity, professionalism, and commitment
Good team facilitation and relationship building skills
Strong willingness to drive change as well as good internal marketing and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Fluent English communication and writing skills
Fluent Turkish highly preferred
