About the role
- Lead the design and development of hydraulic systems for rotary drill rigs and related equipment.
- Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for hydraulic systems.
- Conduct system testing, inspections, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers to integrate hydraulics into complete machine designs.
- Analyze data and create models to prototype and validate new hydraulic concepts.
- Support internal teams and customers with training and technical documentation.
- Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, hydraulic, or related); advanced degrees or PE certification are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years in hydraulic system design and maintenance, preferably in heavy equipment or industrial machinery.
- Strong grasp of fluid mechanics, load interactions, and hydraulic circuit design.
- Proficiency in CAD and engineering analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (~15%).
