About the role

  • Lead the design and development of hydraulic systems for rotary drill rigs and related equipment.
  • Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for hydraulic systems.
  • Conduct system testing, inspections, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers to integrate hydraulics into complete machine designs.
  • Analyze data and create models to prototype and validate new hydraulic concepts.
  • Support internal teams and customers with training and technical documentation.
  • Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, hydraulic, or related); advanced degrees or PE certification are a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years in hydraulic system design and maintenance, preferably in heavy equipment or industrial machinery.
  • Strong grasp of fluid mechanics, load interactions, and hydraulic circuit design.
  • Proficiency in CAD and engineering analysis tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (~15%).
