About the role

  • You take overall responsibility for the strategic and operational management of our warehouse locations within the Sana Group (central and hospital warehouses)
  • You develop a future-oriented warehouse strategy and implement efficient site and capacity planning
  • You standardize and optimize group-wide warehouse processes (goods receipt and issue, putaway, picking, inventory, etc.)
  • You manage our inventory based on KPIs and work closely with Procurement and internal stakeholders
  • You lead and coordinate group-wide warehouse projects — from site tenders and refurbishments to IT rollouts
  • You identify optimization opportunities in automation and digitalization and implement them sustainably
  • You roll up your sleeves and get hands-on when needed — for example during warehouse relocations or special operational projects

Requirements

  • You have solid experience in warehouse management — ideally from hospital logistics, pharmaceutical, or MedTech environments
  • You are proficient with modern warehouse management systems and KPI-driven control
  • You have experience in complex warehouse and distribution networks
  • You have deep expertise in process harmonization, inventory control, and warehouse optimization
  • You combine project management skills with strong IT affinity
  • You excel in clear communication, decisive decision-making, and confident risk management
