About the role

  • Act as the ultimate product owner for the platform
  • Prioritize the roadmap based on customer needs and business value
  • Own the relationship with the Security organization and the CISO, ensuring our platform's automated guardrails satisfy enterprise compliance requirements seamlessly
  • Hire, coach, and develop a LEAN, elite team SREs, Architects, and Security Automation Engineers
  • Instill a "No Ticket-Ops" and "Shift-Left" philosophy where all tasks are fully automated via CI/CD pipelines
  • Act as the ultimate owner of the cloud budget and drive financial accountability across engineering teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or relevant work experience
  • 8+ years of software engineering/cloud infrastructure experience with 3+ years of direct people management experience
  • Proven experience operating as a Product Owner or Engineering Manager for an enterprise-scale internal developer platform or cloud landing zone
  • Deep understanding of multi-account cloud strategies, centralized governance, and programmatic preventative guardrails
  • Proven track record of designing and operating mission-critical services with 99.999% uptime requirements, automated failover mechanisms, and active-active regional architectures
  • Strong understanding of modern, cloud-native security paradigms, including "Private-by-Default" networking, centralized egress inspection, and enterprise-grade secrets management.
