About the role

  • Own Salesforce’s executive-level marketing plan including thought leadership, content strategy and content development for the CIO persona.
  • Help define the CIO narrative, develop a single source of truth for CIO messaging, and translate that into high-impact content.
  • Lead the strategy and development of CIO-focused thought leadership content across formats and channels.
  • Partner with Media, Comms, and Executive Events teams to shape CIO thought leadership for third-party stages.
  • Partner closely with Executive Events and Sales to ensure content, messaging, and follow-up actions are aligned across touchpoints.

Requirements

  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and editorial judgment
  • Strong executive presence and confidence engaging with senior internal stakeholders and enterprise CIO audiences
  • Ability to synthesize inputs from multiple sources (research, feedback, performance data, CXO insights) into clear recommendations and action
  • Experience working on fast-moving, highly visible initiatives with senior leadership exposure
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building new frameworks, templates, and strategies from the ground up
  • Familiarity with enterprise technology, platforms, and ecosystem partnerships strongly preferred.
