About the role

  • Transform the developer experience within Salesforce's Hyperforce program via Terraform Infrastructure Developer Experience (TIDE) team
  • Design, develop, and maintain well-architected, production-grade Terraform tooling
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand developer pain points and create tools to simplify workflows
  • Write high-quality Terraform and Golang code for packaged manifests, infrastructure deployment, and pipeline automation
  • Implement strategies for creating resources across multiple cloud providers to offer a unified developer experience
  • Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices
  • Support customers and internal stakeholders by troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Foster a culture of innovation, independent thinking, and proactive problem-solving
  • Collaborate across time zones on a remote-first US team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or a similar role
  • Proficiency in Golang and Terraform
  • Hands-on experience in designing and deploying cloud resources using AWS, Kubernetes, and related technologies
  • Prior technical leadership and mentorship experience
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and best practices
  • Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or AliCloud
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to drive complex technical initiatives
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
