About the role
- Own the end-to-end conference programme, ensuring it aligns with SF Ben Con’s market proposition.
- Work with internal stakeholders and steering group members to shape content tracks (Architect, Admin, Developer, Executive)
- Ensure sessions are outcome-focused, opinionated, and free from sales pitches or product demos. This will be a shared responsibility with the steering committee.
- Maintain agenda balance across content pillars
- Identify, recruit, brief, and manage high-calibre speakers from across the Salesforce and enterprise technology ecosystem
- Review and challenge session abstracts to ensure quality, originality, and relevance
- Act as the main point of contact for speakers throughout the project lifecycle
- Work cross-functionally with events director, marketing, sponsorship, and operations teams to ensure programme alignment
- Manage programme timelines, milestones, and dependencies
- Oversee programme execution during the event, including speaker management and agenda flow
- Act as a senior point of contact on-site for programme-related matters
Requirements
- Proven experience producing or managing content for senior-level technology or developer conferences or industry events
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem or adjacent enterprise technology platforms
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Confident challenging speakers and stakeholders to protect content quality
- Highly organised, detail-driven, and comfortable working to fixed timelines
