About the role
- Combines disparate data sources to construct and communicate a deep understanding of the product and customer utilization.
- Help build a strong data culture through clear dashboards, regular reporting share-outs, and analyst lead product reviews
- Works closely with engineering to establish data sources and pipelines and in the validation and maintenance of the generated data
- Uses technical expertise and extensive industry experience to formulate product strategies and identify new product opportunities.
- Identify, design and test new KPIs,
- Leads the defining of metrics to unify cross-company reporting and measures
- Researches and validates customer value realization
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in Product Analytics, or Data Science
- Proven record of successful metric-driven product impact in collaboration with product and engineering teams
- Very strong critical thinking and analysis skills.
- Ability to take an ambiguous problem and use data to identify goals and clear metrics, and drive a team to deliver on those goals
- Advanced SQL skills and database experience (Redshift, Snowflake)
- Strong data visualization skills (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Qlik)
- Experience in Python or R
- Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for driving change with a collaborative leadership style
- Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
- Ability to influence at all levels of the organization and across multiple functions
