About the role

  • Provide high-level legal and strategic administrative support to the SVP, Employment Counsel
  • Manage employment-related legal matters across a complex, national organization
  • Lead tracking and management of all employment-related legal matters
  • Draft and finalize responses to EEOC and state agency charges
  • Manage and monitor critical legal deadlines
  • Support employment litigation including discovery coordination and legal holds
  • Oversee matter management systems and reporting
  • Coordinate with outside counsel and review invoices
  • Assist with internal investigations and compliance initiatives
  • Prepare executive-level summaries of employment matters
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Paralegal certification strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of paralegal experience with significant focus on employment law
  • Experience independently managing EEOC and state agency charge responses
  • Strong employment litigation support experience
  • In-house corporate legal department experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Exceptional written communication and organizational skills.
