• Lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing administration of PTC Windchill PDMLink and associated modules
• Help bridge the gap between database health and systems infrastructure, specifically around the PTC Windchill application suite
• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade Windchill environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Monitor server health and performance utilizing SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server Agent to ensure high availability for Windchill services.
• Build, test, and deploy PLM solutions using industry best practices
• Support data migrations, legacy system transitions, and system transformation initiatives
• Perform DISA STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guides) activities for SQL Server instances
• Maintain user permissions, encryption, and conduct regular audits to maintain compliance
• Design and implement automated SQL Server backup strategies and lead regular testing of disaster recovery protocols
• Optimize server-level settings, manage indexing, and analyze execution plans to resolve database bottlenecks.

• Build integrations or web-based tools, including applications that allow users to interact with AI/ML models and large language models (LLMs)
• Write efficient JQL and SQL queries to support reporting, analytics, and data integration needs
• Develop and customize Atlassian functionality by writing JQL/CQL queries, Groovy scripts, and Confluence user macros using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or Python with the ability to also develop in/integrate with other software, including Microsoft Office 365
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on solutions, incorporating feedback and demonstrating progress regularly
• Independently research, evaluate, and implement potential solutions using Atlassian documentation, community resources, and web research
• Create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, dashboards, and knowledge base articles in Confluence to support both customers and internal teams
• Develop how-to guides, presentations, and user instructions, ensuring accuracy and professional quality prior to distribution
• Support CI/CD pipeline configuration and contribute to code quality through unit testing and best development practices
• Conduct remote or in-person Jira/Confluence demonstrations, training sessions, and troubleshooting support as required
• Participate in Agile team activities, including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog management
• Manage individual work tasks through Jira boards and internal ticketing systems, ensuring alignment with service level agreements (SLAs) and timely customer support
• Coordinate schedules with teammates to ensure customer support coverage during core hours (8 AM – 5 PM Pacific, Monday–Friday)
