Support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Global cost models for low carbon technologies.
Support broader modelling initiatives for the Technologies and Supply Chain team with the Energy Transition, Sustainability and Services (ETSS) team.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop more granular and interactive modelling tools.
Present findings and strategic insights to senior leadership, project teams, and clients in a clear, actionable manner.
Stay up to date with energy technology trends, cost drivers, and market dynamics to inform model updates.
Produce highly optimized models that will be able to improve the cost analysis comparison done by the team to support the critical business decisions of our customers.
Requirements
At least 2 years of relevant experience
Advanced knowledge of the clean energy technology industry
Strong modeling skills
Prior experience of working in a research analyst role is highly valued
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Economics, Finance, or a related field
Fluent in English and Spanish
2+ years of experience in cost modelling, energy systems analysis, or financial modelling within the energy sector
Demonstrated expertise in calculating levelized costs and other financial modelling methodologies
Experience using modelling in Python, excel VBA, power query and data visualization tools
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and effectively integrate team feedback
