About the role

  • Develop and maintain internal tools and workflows that automate ingestion, transformation, and analysis of structured & unstructured business data
  • Design and manage scalable pipelines for centralized analytics, reporting, and/or faster decision-making
  • Contribute to modular backend development to support reuse and future system scaling
  • Drive documentation excellence by clearly communicating technical workflows, system design decisions, and deployment guidelines
  • Analyze customer demand patterns, market conditions, competition, future trends, and company product mix and revenue strategies to recommend product supply optimization
  • Visually provide management with identified insights from data sets
  • Develop and maintain reporting, metrics / KPIs, and analytics for Seagate’s go-to-market (GTM) functions
  • Partner with Business Intelligence-IT to migrate reports & workflows to enterprise-scale technical stack
  • Support key projects and system initiatives that align with Sales strategy and business needs
  • Engage with internal systems (e.g., M365, SAP, Salesforce, Dynamics, Business Objects, Microsoft Power Apps) to update, run reports, and track status
  • Support training & key meetings coordination and communications initiatives
  • Perform data validation to assure integrity, accuracy and consistency; identify root causes of data inconsistencies and implement corrective actions
  • Regular communication with team members and stakeholders to checkpoint on business status and drive improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Sales Operations, Business Operations, Product Management, Customer Support, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT

Requirements

  • Current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Business or Data Analytics, Business Information Systems, Informatics, or similar fields, and returning to school in fall 2026
  • Adapt to change gracefully and learn new technologies quickly
  • Keen attention to detail and strong analytical thinking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Project management experience driving projects to key milestones & deliverables
  • Ability to own delivery of multiple projects in parallel and deliver them on time
  • Experience gathering data from large scale data warehouses/data marts
  • Experience gathering & addressing feedback from Customer-facing stakeholder groups
  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts)
  • Expertise with Power Suite (Power Automate, Power Query, PowerBI), Copilot Studio, Graph APIs, Fabric, and other Microsoft 365 tools
  • Proven proficiency with business intelligence and/or ETL analysis tools (e.g., Knime, Alteryx)
  • Proven proficiency with open-source software and/or scripting (e.g., Python, VBA)
  • Genuine interest in learning and willingness to learn from all people; ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Understanding of storage industry, go-to-market activities, sales processes, and global businesses is a plus
  • Experience with training LLM Agents/Copilot and/or ML/AI Ops
  • Salesforce or other CRM tools proficiency a plus
  • SAP or other ERP systems & process proficiency a plus
  • Availability: Interns typically work Monday thru Friday 8am to 5.30pm with occasional night calls
