About the role
- Assist senior engineers with research, testing, and other tasks related to ongoing subsea engineering projects
- Learn Wood processes and procedures and follow company protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across disciplines on engineering projects
- Debug and troubleshoot products or systems and help identify and resolve problems
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and progress to team and stakeholders
- Continuously improve skills and knowledge through training and on-the-job learning
- Participate in meaningful projects across renewables and emerging energy sectors as part of the global graduate program
Requirements
- Completed your Bachelor of Civil/ Mechanical Engineering degree by the end of 2025 or earlier
- Strong IT, software and data interrogation skills
- Coding experience (Python, VBA, others) and Machine Learning skills are advantageous
- Attention to detail: responsible for creating detailed designs and specifications
- Teamwork and strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Adaptability to new technologies and techniques
- Problem solving: critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communication skills: ability to write reports, give presentations, and explain technical concepts
- Continuous Learning and staying up to date with technologies and methodologies
