About the role

  • Platform Architecture Design: Design and maintain the overall architecture of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Solution Development and Customization: Oversee the development of custom applications, modules, and workflows on ServiceNow. Ensure solutions are built according to best practices and meet organizational needs.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead technical teams, mentor developers, and set coding standards. Provide guidance on complex technical issues and serve as the escalation point for technical challenges.
  • Governance and Compliance: Establish and enforce governance policies for ServiceNow usage, security, and data management. Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Integration Management: Architect and oversee integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems (e.g., Workday, Salesforce). Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor platform performance and proactively address bottlenecks or issues. Recommend and implement optimizations to improve user experience and system efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and other IT/Business teams to review requirements, present technical solutions, and align platform capabilities with strategic goals.
  • Change and Release Management: Oversee change management processes for ServiceNow deployments, including code reviews, testing, and release planning to minimize disruptions and ensure quality.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, configurations, and customizations. Promote knowledge sharing within the team and across the organization.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and industry trends. Proactively recommend enhancements and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to analyze, debug, and resolve any issues.

Requirements

  • 10 – 12 years of hands-on experience in design, development, and delivery of Servicenow solutions in global environments.
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing in an Agile/Scrum framework.
  • Strong analytical thinking, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with ability to work with technology stakeholders at various levels and including global teams.
  • Extensive experience with ServiceNow architecture, development, and administration.
  • Hands-on experience in ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, Custom Applications and other ServiceNow modules.
  • Respective certifications will be an added value.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages used within ServiceNow (JavaScript, GlideScript).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with enterprise integrations and cloud technologies.
  • Ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, with hands-on experience implementing AI-driven solutions within ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow AI features such as Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, and Natural Language Understanding (NLU).
  • Skill in integrating third-party AI platforms and tools with ServiceNow to enhance automation and decision-making.
  • Ability to leverage AI to optimize workflows, improve incident management, and enhance user experience.
  • A solid understanding of essential AI concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, natural language processing, and LLMs.
