About the role
- Develop and implement comprehensive Agile strategy and transformation roadmaps that align with organizational goals, driving business transformation initiatives across multiple teams and divisions.
- Coach and mentor teams and leaders on Agile mindset, principles, and servant leadership, providing hands-on support in adopting and maturing practices, including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Lean methodologies.
- Engage with senior leadership and stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment between organizational mission, vision, and technology portfolio initiatives, serving as Scrum Master for Portfolio Leadership Team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Owners, Product Management, Analytics, and Lean Portfolio Management, to ensure Agile practices support effective decision-making and value delivery.
- Establish and monitor metrics, OKRs, and KPIs to measure Agile effectiveness, analyze team performance, and provide actionable insights for enhanced productivity and collaboration.
- Build and nurture enterprise-wide Agile communities, facilitating workshops, training sessions, and communities of practice to cultivate lean and Agile thinking across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in Agile methodologies, including 5+ years in leadership roles, with a proven track record of leading Agile transformations.
- Strong understanding and application of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.) in corporate environments, along with expertise in software and quality engineering principles.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, demonstrating strong emotional intelligence and the ability to listen and communicate clearly.
- Empathetic teacher and coach, able to remain objective and constructive, fostering teamwork and driving necessary improvement actions.
- Broad technology experience with management and executive skills; patient, persistent, optimistic, self-motivated, and results driven.
- A lifelong learner with curiosity about Agile practices, knowledgeable in systems thinking, design thinking, and organizational behavior.
- Proficient in Agile tools and applications, with familiarity in Agile scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, Scrum at Scale, DaD).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and lateral thinking skills, with the ability to facilitate constructive debate and resolve conflicts.
- Comfortable in ambiguous environments, capable of leading with minimal direction and setting strategic goals based on experience.
- Demonstrated depth and breadth of Agile experience and a combination of professional certifications.
