About the role

  • Act as the direct liaison with the client to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Strategically plan and execute operations.
  • Identify and/or resolve account-related operational issues by implementing continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives to strengthen team cohesion, objectives, productivity, and outcomes.
  • Recruit, supervise, develop, and manage employee performance while maintaining a positive employee relations environment for assigned accounts.
  • Maintain open and effective communication within workgroups and with other organizational teams.
  • Review data, identify required actions, and implement measures as necessary.
  • May manage profit-and-loss (P&L) accounts depending on the complexity and scope of the organization.
  • Lead a proactive safety program within the assigned workgroup(s), in accordance with company policy, to provide a safe and secure work environment.
  • Provide direction and enforce site safety management plans, training, and processes.
  • Monitor equipment maintenance for assigned workgroup(s) using checklists and observations, as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or supply chain preferred
  • Master’s degree in business, logistics, transportation, or a related field preferred
  • Five (5) years or more of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehousing, or a related field required
  • Five (5) years or more of experience managing, leading, and developing direct reports required
  • Three (3) years or more of P&L responsibility preferred
  • One (1) year or more of customer-facing interaction preferred
