About the role

  • Lead a team of Consultants to identify import duty and tax savings opportunities for clients
  • Maintain existing client relationships focusing on customs duty and tax as well as federal excise tax recovery
  • Research custom classification and valuation, FTZ and duty drawback program issues
  • Reconcile databases and complete detailed calculations
  • Develops client workplans and schedules associated project deliverables
  • Responds to client inquiries and requests from federal and state and local agencies
  • Prepares and conducts client presentations
  • Manages complex federal customs and excise tax projects, including audit defense and tax recovery

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree or equivalent in Accounting and/or Finance
  • Minimum of seven years audit or tax related experience
