About the role
- Lead a team of Consultants to identify import duty and tax savings opportunities for clients
- Maintain existing client relationships focusing on customs duty and tax as well as federal excise tax recovery
- Research custom classification and valuation, FTZ and duty drawback program issues
- Reconcile databases and complete detailed calculations
- Develops client workplans and schedules associated project deliverables
- Responds to client inquiries and requests from federal and state and local agencies
- Prepares and conducts client presentations
- Manages complex federal customs and excise tax projects, including audit defense and tax recovery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree or equivalent in Accounting and/or Finance
- Minimum of seven years audit or tax related experience
