About the role
- Responsible for planning and executing on the integration of acquired companies
- Development and implementation of finance process improvements initiatives across the organization
- Leading the project management for integration of acquired companies
- Identifying and implementing financial process improvements to increase effectiveness and efficiency
- Work closely with leadership within finance and across the enterprise
- Manages and motivates a team of finance transformation professionals
- Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders
- Represents the finance function on cross-functional teams
- Interfaces with Executives, Principals, and functional leaders to identify and establish measurable goals of finance transformation initiatives
- Provides system and process training to acquired organization
- Analyzes current processes and identifies opportunities for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) preferred or equivalent of at least 15 years Accounting and Management experience in the professional services industry
- Certification in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Lean Six Sigma, Scrum)
- Exposure to M&A, integration, or process improvement is a plus
- Current knowledge of GAAP
- Proven track record of leading successful change initiatives
- Experience with accounting transaction process flows and systems
- Experience in merger and acquisitions accounting matters
- Excellent written and oral professional communication skills with attention to detail
- Microsoft Planner (previously Microsoft Projects) and Smartsheet experience
- Ability to establish and meet deadlines
- Strong skills in Microsoft® Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Workday and Salesforce a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
- PMP Preferred
