About the role

  • Responsible for planning and executing on the integration of acquired companies
  • Development and implementation of finance process improvements initiatives across the organization
  • Leading the project management for integration of acquired companies
  • Identifying and implementing financial process improvements to increase effectiveness and efficiency
  • Work closely with leadership within finance and across the enterprise
  • Manages and motivates a team of finance transformation professionals
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders
  • Represents the finance function on cross-functional teams
  • Interfaces with Executives, Principals, and functional leaders to identify and establish measurable goals of finance transformation initiatives
  • Provides system and process training to acquired organization
  • Analyzes current processes and identifies opportunities for improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) preferred or equivalent of at least 15 years Accounting and Management experience in the professional services industry
  • Certification in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Lean Six Sigma, Scrum)
  • Exposure to M&A, integration, or process improvement is a plus
  • Current knowledge of GAAP
  • Proven track record of leading successful change initiatives
  • Experience with accounting transaction process flows and systems
  • Experience in merger and acquisitions accounting matters
  • Excellent written and oral professional communication skills with attention to detail
  • Microsoft Planner (previously Microsoft Projects) and Smartsheet experience
  • Ability to establish and meet deadlines
  • Strong skills in Microsoft® Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Workday and Salesforce a plus
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • PMP Preferred
