About the role
- Planning and executing on the integration of acquired companies.
- Development and implementation of finance process improvements initiatives across the organization.
- Leading the project management for integration of acquired companies.
- Identifying and implementing financial process improvements to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization.
- Working closely with leadership within finance and across the enterprise.
- Creating a positive team experience with a cross-functional integration team.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
- Representing the finance function on cross-functional teams.
- Establishing and providing system and process training to acquired organization.
- Measuring the impact of improvements and quantifying improvement in effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) preferred or equivalent of at least 15 years Accounting and Management experience in the professional services industry.
- Certification in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Lean Six Sigma, Scrum).
- Exposure to M&A, integration, or process improvement is a plus.
- Current knowledge of GAAP.
- Proven track record of leading successful change initiatives.
- Experience with accounting transaction process flows and systems, lead integration, integrate or improve existing processes like Order to Cash and Procure to Pay.
- Experience in merger and acquisitions accounting matters.
- Excellent written and oral professional communication skills with attention to detail.
- Microsoft Planner (previously Microsoft Projects) and Smartsheet experience.
- Ability to establish and meet deadlines.
- Strong skills in Microsoft® Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, Microsoft Planner, exposure to accounting and billing systems, and internet navigation/research.
- Experience with Workday and Salesforce a plus.
- Valid driver’s license required. PMP Preferred.
