About the role
- Responsible for day-to-day servicing of real estate and hospitality accounts
- Processing endorsements & billing
- Prepares accounts for new business and renewals as directed by the broker
- Initiates renewal reviews to optimize client coverage
- Pro-actively reaches out to underwriters and retailers for account maintenance
- Assists brokers in developing market submissions and quote cover letters
- Builds strong relationships with brokers to support evolving business needs
- Partners with brokers to drive renewal activity and generate new business opportunities
- Collaborates on new business strategies for proposals and presentations
- Evaluates account-related risks and ensures compliance with regulations
- Maintains accurate client data in internal systems
- Produces documentation and adheres to service standards
- Generates performance and portfolio trend reports
- Coordinates with internal teams to fulfill contractual obligations
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-4 years of Property & Casualty experience in the commercial insurance industry
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Business Administration, Sales, or Risk Management
- 2-3 years of experience in the insurance field
- Commercial insurance experience working within real estate and hospitality accounts a major plus
- Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively in a fast-paced, high-performing team environment
- Required: Minimum requirements for state Property & Casualty (P&C) and/or surplus lines licenses
- Preferred: Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR), Commercial Insurance License (CIL)
