About the role
- Provide technical guidance in customer facing calls as required, both in person and remote.
- Oversee the transition of select clients from on-premises CDM management to Rubrik Security Cloud, including regular consultations to pinpoint and address any issues, collaborating closely with Product Management and Engineering teams for swift resolution.
- Leverage deep API expertise to guide customers through the migration from REST to GraphQL, including conducting educational sessions on GraphQL advantages, analyzing current REST-based scripts and methodologies, and strategizing optimal transitions to achieve equivalent or enhanced outcomes with GraphQL.
- Serve as a cloud subject matter expert, covering cloud-centric opportunities and enabling the sales team to effectively promote and sell cutting-edge cloud solutions.
- Assist with technical implementations of the product.
- Working closely with sales teams from initial meetings through technical validation of the Rubrik solution.
- Creating and giving presentations for technical enablement of the systems engineers
- Work with product management and engineering to discover and address product gaps, providing real world knowledge on product use.
- Attend internal meetings and events as required, both in person and remote.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in their focus area
- A solid understanding of backups, high availability, and disaster recovery architectures for their focus area
- Scripting experience in a relevant language (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
- Demonstrable experience in cloud (Preferably AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Ability and experience giving technical presentations ranging from small to large audiences
- Ability to self manage time and projects
