Lead Raytheon Javelin Contracts portfolio and provide Contracts leadership for a $900M+ portfolio
Supervise and develop a team of 5 Contracts Professionals
Lead front-end assessments and strategy development for capture and negotiations
Support development and execution of capture and negotiation strategies
Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal/external senior customers and Javelin JV partners
Advise contractual rights and obligations and mitigate business, contractual, and program risks
Ensure contracting actions support long-range financial planning and business interests
Report to the Director, Contracts of the Precision Fires & Maneuvers SSBU
Travel monthly to be onsite with the Javelin Contracts and Program team in Tucson, AZ and to Customer and Partner locations as needed (travel ~33%)
Requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required
DoD Clearance: Secret
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
Experience in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) / Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) contracting
Experience in the development of Contracts and/or Sub-Contracts professionals, which may include direct supervisory responsibility, coaching, mentoring, and/ or teaching
Supervisory responsibility for 5 Contracts Professionals (hiring, growth, development)
Strong aptitude for contract negotiations
Ability to understand financial aspects for overall business interests (contracts and other business arrangements)
Ability to contribute to strategy regarding growth paths and creative solutions
Experience with FMS and/or Direct Commercial Sales (preferred)
Joint Venture experience (preferred)
Willingness to travel approximately 33% and attend monthly onsite meetings in Tucson, AZ
