About the role
- Serve as strategic partner within Non-Product Supply Chain organization reporting to Senior Manager of Non-Product Supply Chain Contracts
- Coordinate with business partners on supply chain contract matters and manage a complex portfolio of supplier contracts
- Draft, generate, interpret, and manage large and complex supply chain contract documents
- Conduct contract negotiations, contract administration, and ensure contract execution and fulfillment
- Review contractual terms and conditions, assess risk, provide legal advice, and maintain historical records
- Direct analysis and prepare reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated parameters
- Manage small- to medium-sized projects and brief management on contract status and contingency plans
- Support NDA Center of Excellence by drafting, reviewing, and managing non-disclosure agreements to protect company IP
- Support tracking of key functional metrics to improve effectiveness
- Communicate with supply chain leadership to develop and implement business objectives
Requirements
- University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- U.S. citizenship required
- Experience negotiating, reviewing, and editing contracts
- Experience with contract administration and contract execution
- Legal analysis and review of contractual terms and conditions
- Ability to assess risk and prepare legal documentation
- Experience managing supplier contracts and complex contract portfolios
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and managing non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
- Ability to prepare reports and track functional metrics
- Ability to manage small- to medium-sized projects and brief management
- Must be willing and able to travel 5% of the time
- Juris Doctorate or other advanced degree (preferred)
- Aerospace contracts experience (preferred)
- Experience working in a large matrixed organization (preferred)
