About the role
- Provide strategic guidance to Information System Security Managers, Mission Area Leads, Cybersecurity Officers, and System Integrators
- Develops, implements, and supports technical standards and baselines for classified information systems
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for designated tools and ensure alignment with Raytheon's standard solutions portfolio
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity Operations, Digital Technology and Engineering to design and develop secure compliant technical solutions
- Conduct technical solution evaluations, gap analyses, and risk evaluations for new capabilities
- Conduct briefings and presentations for multiple levels of the business and support customer discussions and approval requests
- Provide oversight and leadership of cybersecurity projects, initiatives, cost-benefit and risk management analysis
- Support enterprise and business initiatives to drive technological evolution of supported programs
- Capture efficiencies, cost offsets and savings to enable competitive advantage
- Obtain and maintain required security certification within six months of hire if not already certified
Requirements
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship required
- Security Clearance: Secret - Current
- Within six months of hire, obtain and maintain DoD 8570.01-M IAM level III certification (CISSP, CISM, GSLC or CCISO) if not already held
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience
- Eight (8) years’ experience in Cyber/Systems Security and/or Network Architecture/Technology
- Experience with compliance regulations such as NISPOM, DAAPM, JAFAN, ICD, FAA, HIPAA, and/or other government regulations/requirements
- Experience with information security COTS applications (endpoint security, security information and event management, vulnerability management, encryption, antivirus)
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (SharePoint, MS Project, JIRA, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with SIEM tools
- Understanding of enterprise architectural framework methodologies (TOGAF, DoDAF)
- Familiarity with containerization (Kubernetes, Rancher, Docker)
- Experience with virtualization (VMWare, Nutanix)
- Familiarity with cloud architecture, service categories and deployment models
- Ability to tailor technical discussions to various audiences and create security whitepapers and concept of operations
- Experience with change management or architectural governance preferred
- Experience as a team leader, program manager, or product manager preferred
- Experience with resource management, professional development, and mentoring personnel preferred
- Business travel as needed; up to 10%
