About the role

  • Lead deployment, execution, and continuous improvement of Commercial Engine Operations data governance framework with focus on data quality, accessibility, compliance, and value generation
  • Serve as bridge between business, technology, and analytics teams to ensure strategic management and effective leveraging of data assets
  • Support identification, readiness assessment, piloting, and implementation of AI initiatives to drive operational efficiency, innovation, and business growth
  • Deploy training programs to educate organization on data governance program, tools, and roles
  • Establish and maintain data stewardship networks and Communities of Practice to ensure accountability and ownership of data assets
  • Oversee deployment of data dictionaries, glossaries, metadata repositories; implement data quality metrics, controls, and monitoring processes
  • Drive adoption of master data management (MDM) and reference data standards
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analytics, and IT to evaluate AI tools, platforms, and methodologies and monitor AI project outcomes for ROI
  • Lead organizational change management efforts to embed data governance and AI literacy; communicate program milestones and impacts to stakeholders
  • Support deployment and adoption of digital enablement initiatives across the enterprise
  • Quarterly travel or more to corporate location required (quarterly)

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required (only U.S. citizens authorized to access information under this program/contract)
  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 or more years' experience in a data management, information systems, computer science, technology or closely related discipline OR a Master's Degree and 7 or more years' experience in a data management, information systems, computer science, technology or closely related discipline
  • Experience with AI project identification, piloting, and implementation
  • Working knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements
  • Experience with tools such as Axon, Informatica, Alation, Azure Purview, or similar
  • Functional knowledge of frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM, or equivalent
  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts, lifecycle management, and ethical considerations
  • Familiarity with data architecture, MDM, metadata management, cloud platforms, and AI toolsets
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft tool suite O365
