About the role
- Support Automated Test Development as part of the Missile Defense Programs Department within the Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities discipline to develop scripts, tools and tests to support final checks of software regression testing.
- Develop and maintain an automated test suite in MATLAB.
- Develop and utilize a MATLAB GUI to present and analyze data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, development, testing, and validation to ensure successful integration and functionality of capabilities.
- Develop and execute plans, schedules, and procedures to meet project milestones and deliverables.
- Perform system-level analyses and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
- Conduct system performance assessments and validation testing to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
- Prepare and present technical documentation, reports, and presentations to stakeholders and customers.
Requirements
- Typically requires Bachelor of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3+ years of related experience.
- Experience with MATLAB analysis and test development.
- Experience with systems Integration, test, data analysis, and/or verification.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Security Clearance: DoD Clearance: Secret.
- Experience with Python, C/C++, and/or other programming languages (preferred).
- Experience developing in a Linux/Unix environment (preferred).
- Experience with agile development methods (preferred).
- Experience integrating AN/TPY-2 product in both domestic and FMS configurations (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Candidate must exhibit a degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness.
- Experience contributing in a team environment for developing creative solutions to technical problems.
